Alanna and Sasha were ambushed by werewolves when hunting one day outside their village, They were used as slaves for a while till they tried to make a run for it. Alanna didn't make it and was turned. Sasha escaped and helped kill the werewolves and remained human.Β

Though this reminded me of a movie series of 2 girls that get bitten by a werewolf and need to deal with their transformation and find a cure.
Can't remember the name though... :\
The cure was something wolfbane, maybe silver and some other things inserted like shooting drugs daily or so (double doses with a full moon).
Which causes some problems when one of them get admitted into a mental hospital or something... :\

Ooh that sounds like a good movie O.O and yeah wolfs and will kill a werewolf in wolf form though in human form it can be used to cure the lycanthropy
