Here you sit in Mrs. Bitters class, listening to Dib and Zim talk back to one another, again.
"Stop denying it Zim, I know you are an alien," Dib stated while crossing his arms over his chest.
"I am not an alien Dib. I am a human! Must we go over this every time we meet?!" Zim said, waving his arms around.
"I will expose your true identity Zim! It might not be today, might not be tomorrow, but I swear I will one day!" Dib yelled while walking back to his seat, one desk over from Zim's. You happen to be in the middle of the two, again.
"Dib! Knock it off! If you actually want to graduate, I suggest you pay attention to this stupid text book that will get you no-where in life!" Mrs. Bitters screeched throughout the classroom. Thus, the boring day continues.

The bell rang, signaling that the horrible school day ended. All the skool kids ran out of the filthy classroom. It happened to be a gloomy day on Earth, and started to rain. All the kids started to play in it while Zim sat on the steps leading up to 'skool', non-moving. You started to worry for the green skinned kid. You took out your umbrella and offered him a hand to help him up off the muddy steps.
"I do not need any of your help you pathetic human," he spat. You slowly started to walk away, opening your umbrella in the process. You turned around only to see him staring at the water falling from the sky. You walked over to Zim, eyeing him carefully, waiting for him to start walking home. He took one step into the rain, only for a few drops to hit him and burn his skin. He hissed in pain, looking up only to find you standing with an umbrella over the both of you. He looks into your eyes only for a split second then looks at his feet.
"What are you doing here? I said I don't need your help..." He says, not making eye contact with you.
"Your skin says otherwise," you state, pointing at his burning green flesh. You put your hand out to him, only to have him actually grab it. You start to slowly walk out into the rain with the umbrella over the both of you, dragging, literally, Zim along besides you.
After the two of you are fully out into the rain, Zim was extremely close to you, a look of worry covered his features. He hasn't let go of your hand yet, and if it weren't for the look of worry on his face, you two would've looked like a little couple [Awe! ^^]. He was shaking quite badly which only made you feel sorry. You did something you thought you would never do to him...You hugged him! He stood there, stunned.
"W-What is the meaning of this?!?" He shouted.
"It's a hug," you say and let go, "a hug is something that humans do when they need comfort." You state, looking at the oh-so-interesting sidewalk below you. You look up only to see Zim's eyes staring into your soul. You two both stay in silence, looking into each others eyes, a slight blush flowing to your cheeks. You start to walk, Zim quickly following your lead. You feel something brush against your hand but ignore it, thinking it was just an accident, until you feel something full-on grasp your hand. You look down only to see Zim's hand intertwined with yours. Then you start to slowly look up only to see a... smile? 'Never seen him do that before...' you thought. You both continue to walk in a comfortable silence under your umbrella, listening to the little titter-patter of the rain falling~
