9x11THE cowboy of Hollywood, Clint Eastwood did well but he's too respectable to be a badass anymore. John Wayne is the best choice for a western by far.

This, I believe, is the very best rendition of John Wayne [The Duke] that I've ever seen! I like him, Jimmy Stewart, Clint Eastwood and Sam Elliot nearly equally and I wouldn't want to live on the difference between them. Having said that, the Duke came down the trail before any of the rest of them. Very well done!

The photoshop I use is pretty basic, but atleast it had a decent contrast. It may not contrast it much, but it was lighter than that, yes.

Yeah, usually I find a way around shading details that are difficult by creating illusion of hair or wrinkles like his. Even though very time constraining, this wasn't all that difficult as I had thought. I think I may just do these things without the usual shortcuts now.
