Contest entry for : Seasonal and Festivities
I choose Lantern Festival from China because I drew this since Chinese New Year's holiday //laughs. I really love Caelus and Caedes design, I hope I draw them right.

About your entry! OMG, it really was a must to download it to see the full details!. Chinese Lantern Festival has to be one of the most flashy and distinctive festivities in the world; a thing as simple as a paper lantern brings so much color to the night.
Choosing Caedes and Caelus for the festivity wasn't a random thing, isn't it?, the designs are more than perfect for such occasion in my opinion, something as sacred as a Dragon, with oriental outfit designs fits perfectly the scene, and I'm sure you didn't miss it when choosing the theme.
It wasn't unfortunate at all that other contestants choose the same festivity, as I mentioned in a couple of entries, the good part is that I can see how the same festivity can be interpreted in different ways according with who's drawing.
I can clearly see your effort by adding a lot of details, the lanterns have different shapes, they have different patterns and you also worked with the perspective. The starred sky serves as a good canvas for all those pretty lanterns.
You didn't miss details in my characters designs and both look handsome in your style.
I think your entry is complete and achieves the main objective of the contest and conveys very well the spirit of the Festivity.

Hey! Thank you for the comment. I feel so much love in this comment OMG i'm so loved//laughs. This picture actually have a bigger size than this. I'll send it to you via note when the contest over if you want. About the theme, yes. I see Caedes and Caelus have a very 'Asian/Chinese' sense, so i tried to search something perfect for them Also if you looked closely, Caelus is released a different lantern with dragon pattern on it.
BTW i read your current journal about the messages on your profile. Actually i considered to noted you, too. But, well i believe you since you're artist like me too ;w;
