hi all, here's something i did recently. been trying out something new, i wanted to achieve something more anime and japanese in my art. so i am experimenting with lines and soft airbrush. this piece is actually part of a project i am doing with my buddy gary and the book is call "Garidari". haha but i think we still have alot to do and research on! well anyways for this piece i wanted to draw some porceline ball joint doll girl robot, just wanted to do something different like a female astroboy in a way, i dunno haha anyways c&c welcome! and thanks for dropping by!

Hahaha, no prob man. I actually wrote a whole journal in response your kotaku article on the dumb people, and yeah a lot of people were just outraged by the stupidity. The article i wrote tangented off into discrimination towards anime, and my personal experienced during art school. But You are more then welcome to read it. The execution of this piece, and all of your work quite frankly, is incredible. The line work, lighting is handled with such care and delicacy, that you can pour over every inch of this and still find interesting nuances the nth time you see it. For instance, i love that you used your Black Revolt illustration above the tv!!

Very interesting piece. There is a mood here that I can't figure out. It seems calm and content, but somewhat sad? I'm not sure, but this is a great picture. And I love all the detail you put in for the surroundings.
