I love the way you capture children. There is something about little kids-- the way they always have their entire personality on their faces at all times...

Can I just ask how you make the photo 'look' the way it does?
Is some kind of filter in Photoshop applied to cool the colours down?

You must lower the saturation of the image, while making sure the image still has contrast - that's about it! Proper use of hue/saturation and curves.

awesome photo! love the semi-desaturated tones. But u know... in a VERY VERY wrong way... its kinda umm... dirty. if you know what i mean? i'm probably crossing so many boundaries of normal social conduct in pointing this out but it needs to be said... if she was significantly older it would be a photo with sexual connotations (sp?)... just thought u should know.
