Once ran away from home due to overprotective parents,Alena made the Wind Ninja Academy her new home and became good friends with Cam Watanabe (Green Samurai Ranger) along with Tori Hanson (Blue Wind Ranger) and help keep her in line at the Academy
She gets captured by Lothor and the rest of his army,but has been the most trained and knows a technique that allows her to speaks Cam and Tori through her their minds. She also has kept the other students' spirits up as they wait until Cam frees all of them. After the events of Ninja Storm,Alena was trained by Tori and was becoming the best Ninja she can be. And after Tori came back from helping the Overdrive Ranger,Tori easily picked Alena to be her successor as she becomes the new Blue Wind Ranger. And her mission involves (something secret) within Leon Evan (Blazing Lion Red Ranger.) So she seeks him out and joins him on his journey to create Dimension Squad. She pilots the Blue Dolphin thanks to both Cam and Tori.
