Now I must say that I am in love with this piece right here. I think it shows an adorable brotherly love between Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in it's own unique, yet familiar art-style.
Now I admit that, though I knew Oswald before, I never truly learned about him until Epic Mickey was released. I think you managed to capture the close bond between these two while depicting their personalities perfectly (I'm going with Oswald's video game depiction here). Oswald, who has been forgotten for so long and has grown to be untrustworthy towards others in time, would grow to be more reserved and, after not being adored by fans for so long, is probably not used to such affection from others (besides Ortensia, his love-interest who was turned to stone in the events of the first Epic Mickey game). Mickey, however, is more open and willing to show his emotions, since he hasn't faced the same dilemmas that Oswald had to face, and was never afraid to show Oswald just how much he cared about him. This shows very good progress in the development of their brotherly relationship since Oswald's shocked face shows how he continues to learn more about accepting his younger brother and brotherly affection. Mickey continues to help Oswald to be more accepting and open, being there by his brother's side to see him through.
You managed to show, in such a cute and original style that still allows viewers to familiarize this with Disney's famous characters, the development of such an adorable and loving relationship between two united brothers. You allowed us to see just how much they care about one another in their own way and that's why I'm giving this all 5 stars. You captured the magic of Disney, the magic of Family, the magic of Brothers in this single picture with two Disney brothers who got a chance to reunite and rekindle their love for one another. I have no negative things to say about this, it's absolutely perfect. Bravo and thank you for sharing this!

My Goodness this is absolutely adorable!
The proportions are absolutely spot on, sort of like a slightly cuter design spin on both of the characters with some great posing. The expressions say it all here too, mickeys pure joy at being able to greet his big bro, and Oswalds expression of "wait what?!" I love both these characters and their relationship, it's nice to see Mickey showing Oswald how much he loves him!
I hope you understand the originality score isn't a slight. It being fan-art, I feel like Originality is harder to score on that front, but I give 4.5 because it is rare to see Mickey and Oswald art that really shows off their relationship so simply and yet so well.
The sketchy style really works for this image, keeps a certain child-like joy to it, and I think it lends a little more life to the action too.

First of all, THIS IS SO DARN CUTE! I love them! I love Mickey and Oswald! But not the newer mickey, he's creepy, I like the original white faced mickey better.
I first became familiar with Oswald when I played Epic Mickey, and when I saw this picture, it immediately caught my eye.
I really like how you made them all little and child like! I also like how you kept the sketchiness of it, sometimes making it look a little unfinished makes it all the better. I am also in love with Mickey's face! You do know how to make a cute face, did you know that? I also like the the title, since Oswald came before Mickey, that would make Mickey sort of a little brother wouldn't it?

Thats because a lot of us who play Epic Mickey wasn't even born when Oswald was around.So he wasn't really forgotten, he was just never known of because the ones who knew of him when he was around who were the ones who had forgotten him, never told us about him.

Well Disney didn't have the rights to use Oswald until about 10 years ago and because he ended up being forgotten, they didn't want to make it look like they were randomly adding new characters for no reason. Also Oswald was originally supposed to be Disney's biggest star which probably why they want to bring Oswald back into the public.Β
