Hmmm... ya know, this begs the question; would Twilight be a Sith or a Jedi?
Most would say Jedi out of a narrow view of Jedi = Good and Sith = Evil, but for those of us who've looked into it a bit deeper the Sith aren't fundamentally evil, and the Jedi consider themselves fundamentally good to such an extent that could be considered arrogance.
The Jedi are focused on the greater good, that much is certain, but for them much of their training involves negating emotions. They cannot have attachments or possessions, they cannot marry, they spend their entire lives contemplating the force. Basically, they're monks. They serve - and are trained to never question - the Council until they eventually die. Having emotions of any sort, especially those of a personal nature, is seen as a gateway to the Dark Side, because any emotion can disrupt the calm mind.
Compare with the Sith, who are about self-empowerment. They strive to better themselves through the force, and they are much more progressive than the Jedi, even using artificially created crystals for their light-sabers (which the Jedi do not approve of - they'd rather send their trainees to dangerous planets to harvest these gems). The Sith have a lot of negativity attached to them thanks to Palpatine and in no short part to the Jedi's millennia long reign, but their order itself does not seem inherently evil, just more open to abuse.
So, which would Twilight be? Personally, I like the idea of her as a good aligned Sith; studying the Force as a means of self-betterment, and using that power to do good things. But that's just me.

Makes sense, although Sith and Jedi area always in conflict.
Jedi say that if there is no sith there will be balance to the force, but in reality, sith and jedi are the balance of the force, without one of them there wouldn't be an balance.

Actually, what the Jedi consider "balance" is not a middle ground of the force, but the absence of dark side force users.
The light side of the force is, according to the Jedi, the natural state of the force, while the dark side is a corrupted and unnatural side of it. The very existence of users of the dark side brings imbalance, so basically when Jedi talk about restoring balance, they mean getting rid of any Sith they find, as you say.
