A model made in sketchup, free to download, of the Ark of the Covenant, the sacred gilded box wherein the prophet Moses put the Ten Commandments, and which was subsequently kept in Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem, before being lost at some point. (I made a model of the Ten Commandments tablets previously, so thought I'd make the Ark as well. This model being based on the version of the Ark that appears in the Indiana Jones film 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', which follows the description in the Old Testament, and is probably quite close to how the Ark actually looked.

You will need to import the .obj file into daz 3d, apply iray to the surfaces, load the textures and bump layers (with low setting) under the surfaces tab, and apply metallic effect in order to get it looking like the sample image.

Two versions are included, one with the base, lid and carrying pole as separate models, one with them all joined together in a single model. Be sure not to look at the open version.
