These are my top three favorite girls from Hey Arnold (I think? I'm not sure if I did Patti dirty by putting Phoebe in there instead.) :

#1 -Helga Pataki
Helga will always be my golden girl. She is such an emotional train wreck and I am here for it, I feel it in my very soul. I shall always stan for this queen.

    You know when she grows up she'll be a writer, publish more than a few books of poetry and the like. But the road to success is rocky so in the meantime she'll likely pay her way through college by working odd jobs. I can see her as a snarky barista.
#2 - Lila Sawyer (Wow the Community emoticons got no love for Lila.)
          Lila gets such a bad rep but I don't think she's evil or crazy manipulative (unlike other Lila's in other shows. You know who I'm talking about.) If anything she reminds me a lot of Teruhashi from Saiki K., another "perfect, pretty girl" who has to put in much more effort to be perfect than most people realize. I think it's likely that Lila might be a little vindictive or manipulative (with the way she has sometimes seemed to lead Arnold on), and for sure she has a hidden dark side, but I'd like to think that all she wants is a cynical friend like Helga who she can live vicariously through, because she's probably very cynical herself but doesn't feel she's allowed to express that. She is a good person, I think, but she definitely has a hidden sadness and dark side that makes the idea of Lila forever interesting to me and that makes me thoroughly wish her character had been explored further in the show. (And yeah I know I'm putting my own headcanon into a character's personality, but there's enough small evidence in the show and Craig Bartlett's comments to justify my characterization at least to myself!)

Lila's a country girl at heart who keeps to her sweet country girl aesthetic. I like the idea that she might put on just a little weight and develop some lovely curves. (I wanted her to look rounded, soft, and "innocent") I don't know exactly what she'd study in college (maybe she's undecided?) but I'd like her to go to the same college as Helga. I think they're both smart enough to get into a pretty good school.

and (probably) #3 - Phoebe Hyerdahl (Wrong Pheebs, but apparently the community's got no love for Phoebe either.)

        I don't know. She's really cute, I guess. That's basically it. I guess Patti could easily share this spot with Phoebe, I just think of Phoebe more than I do Patti, though.

        Phoebe's Pre-Med, currently taking a biology course as you can see. Of course the girl's gonna aim to be a doctor. She's crazy smart and she's definitely the doctor type. (Now that I think of this show was so good at presenting smart, well-rounded female characters. Hey Arnold's the best. )
