Brass pots of shoe polish of a street shoeshine guy. He was busy texting to some friend when I was taking this pic. He said the business was OK. It didn't sound very convincing to me seeing how he shared his spot in front of a mosque with at least half a dozen others. Then again, I don't know much about shoeshine business.Uskudar, Istanbul.
Bir boyacinin boya kaplari. Ben resmi cekerken o da bir arkdasina mesaj atiyordu. Sordugumda isler iyi dedi, ama cami onundeki piyasasini yarim duzune boyaciyla paylastigindan bana pek inandirici gelmedi. Tabii ben bu isten pek anlamam.

I suppose they get the shoe polish in bulk and put it into the pots themselves.
