If she was a real fan she would be plating with the PDP arcade stick, not with that pad.

It's a matter of personal preference and has no correlation to how much of a fan someone is. Personally I find arcade sticks impossible to use for fighting games, since trying to input quarter-circles and such with those things is so damn difficult.
And yes, I am also one of those people that play FPS games with a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard. Sue me.
