Description Wisteria

Dorment, she sleeps through winters grey days
She awakes with warmth of Springs sun rays
Warmed she dress's and makes herself up
Make up applied, mauve, yellow & green greys
A display so fine, the men stop and stare
Women shy, by her beauty the're dazed
Then like a tart, she sheds her fine wares
Like a carpet, we tred her finest clothes

To me this is my pride & joy, each year I watch over her, one late frost and all the buds will drop off, I've had her for 20 years plus now and every year an orgasam of senses is satisfied. Nature is so very wonderful

Photo collarge croppped layered & shadowed.

Wonderful collage. Isn't it great how nature keeps coming back and gives us reason to look forward to the spring?

Usually find them trained up the side of houses, I'm more of a rambling man, so my plants have to follow suite!

Thanks for your comment

Another one of my favourites we had a huge one of these growing all over the front of our old house.
Some builder guy moved in when we moved out and chopped it all down! Philistine!

She is truly a showy tart at your gardens bottom. Love the title btw....
A very pretty collage and such wonderful poetry to go with it. I had a wisteria at home but was never around when it flowered
They have big trees in Samoa with a similar yellow flower to wisteria and very pretty and covered with flowers so that had to do..
You must have a wonderful garden to be proud of.

Youre very welcome. Its good to be back here and I think all of you are giving me some inspiration to get back into it again. My hand is still on the mend and will be a while before it is pain free again . A bugger taking photos at present .Lots of shake !!!!!
Laura takes some awesome photos and they are all done by her- the self portraits. She is having a rough time at present and not liking to be reliant on us and her man for money etc.Not long until she sees the specialist again and hopefully this time some medication, so she can get back into the real world and be able to work again and feel remotely normal.

Beautiful!

20 years! Wow! That's impressive!

I like the layout/composition... only thing I would like to see differently is the shadow for the text at the bottom... perhaps more of a perspective titled shadow that touches the base rather than so far... but that's just me...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Daxserv In reply to jade [2004-05-11 07:47:26 +0000 UTC]

You mean like a 'drop shadow'

Thanks for you comment

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

jade In reply to Daxserv [2004-05-11 12:02:28 +0000 UTC]

Almost a drop shadow... perspective shadow gives you more of a sense of where the light is coming from to cast a shadow...

So, you could select the light from the front left and it would create a shadow that tilts backwards towards the right.
