when I open it it just says "Error: Some techniques are cannot run on Technique_Sample"
and it comes out as just a white box isnteade of see through ripples.

2) Have you installed MME correctly?
3) How are you trying to run the effect?

I don't know how to help you, sorry. Go on youtube and type in mmd mirror water effect or something, you should be able to find a video explaining it, i rarely use mmd anymore so I haven't got a clue.
