I really dig your use of texture under thick lines! Very unique-looking.

Thanks! I really like them too. I've always been one for striking lines... dunno what it is. >.> Texture is a recent discovery for me though.

Well, it looks real sweet. And dang, I feel like I've seen your art somewhere before, it has a distinct style...

Hmm... well I wouldn't know where, unless you hang around the Terrouge e-zine this month or saw some art off my old gallery. *shrug* But really, somebody else could easily be doing something similar to me. It's fun, but nothing too special or particularly difficult. :]

I think I've stumbled upon Terrouge once many months back, so maybe I have.

Amber, could you provide your definition of a Warlord? Cuz I have a distinct impression and I'm wondering if your thoughts deviate from mine.

I used the term "warlord" as used in the Redwall series. A warlord is the vermin leader of a horde. Kind of like a super baddie. :]

Amber, could you provide your definition of a Warlord? Cuz I have a distinct impression and I'm wondering if your thoughts deviate from mine at all.

Do you rough out your body structure in basic shapes before you start drawing in detail? For a long time I never did that and my bodies always turned out wonky. Drawing the structure from a stick skeleton upward really helped me out. *shrug* Best of luck to you!

Hee, thanks. And the dusty cloudy stuff was a lot of fun to do. I don't do cloudy textures very often, so this was good practice. Glad to know it turned out alright!
