WIP 1of3I often start with an eye and calculate everything else from that point. I mostly go with markers at early stage.
The eye is detailed with watercolor pencils and some fine point markers

I put some ref point sometimes that I erase, very light
I never use graphite lining, it doesn't go well with markers
I built up color from light markers, so if I miss, I can always cover up with darker one or use white acrylics cover up
