Oil on canvas.I've finally got round to scanning in a painting - I should have a few more on here in the next couple of weeks. Some of you might recognise the image from the original pencil drawing entitled "Abstinence".

were you thinking of the indulgences sold by the medieval church? that came to me at first. I find it interesting also that the one character's pale flesh stands out from the dramatically drab colors of the others.

Thank you! I think the indulgeneces sold by the church were in there somewhere, but also indulgence a broader sense - indulgence in worldly things.
