One reason why i have my faves set on random is that every time i go to my page, It pulls up a load of awesome shots I once faved and might otherwise not look at again.

This one just popped up and when i re-saw this, i thought, damn - that is such a good shot!!!!!

Love the composition, the dark shapes form a good base while the lines fan out and spiral upwards and outwards giving the image a lighter feeling.

Black and white was an excellent choice to focus on the lines textures.

overall, it's hard to find fault. The composition almost adhears to the golden section rules in places, but with that strong semi-circular ring shape forming an arc that sits on the base, everything feels solid and considered.

Deserves more faves for sure.
