How did you manage that with all that light pollution Dave?

It was easier than I thought. I was worried too about the lighthouse light but it worked great. I used a tripod, set ISO 3200, aperture at f3.5 and shutter speed for 25 seconds. This is pretty much how it looked on camera after the shot. I only tweaked contrast a bit and sharpened in post processing. I was very pleased. The hardest part was focusing because it was so dark. I focused on the light then angled the camera down a bit to get the composition I wanted and BAM!
I'm going to do some more star shots next month in the mountains.
