Okay so
(I THINK WE'RE DOING SOLLUXARADIA IDEK BUT.))
Okay so, Sollux has been in there for a long time. He's in there for being 'posessed' and schitzophrenic. He's not posessed. He is. however, a schitz. A really bad one sometimes, too.
It's a house for the criminally insane, so there are also bad people in there. Sollux doesn't associate wth any of them; he hangs around with let's say Nepeta. who was in there for nothing. She was framed but they couldn't take her word against a man's now could they?
(I'm just gonna spoil this- the judge is pretty much a nero natzi or whatever it is. He's also against women doing a man's work. Nepeta is from southern Africa and she worked as a construction worker. Alas.)
So when Aradia is thrown in there for maybe, um, diggin up a grave when she didn't KNOW it was a grave and then self defence, he kinda takes a liking to her. Pitys her, so to speak!
First time he talks to her, he's a total doof. And Aradia finds it adoable!
They get to know one another.
(Um.

Over the course of a year, they bond quite strongly.
Suddendly, they find Aradia at fault for something much worse.
(I couldn't think of anything at this point lol)
She's given three weeks to live.

She tells Sollux, who's a complete wreck, that everything will be okay. She's ready to die for a cause she didn't even bring into focus, just to show the world they were wrong. She says he has to, some day, blow the book on this whole place and expose them about everything. She also makes him promise to include her in at least a paragraph.
On the last day, he says "I'll write it all about you, aa, I'll blow the books out fo this place and I'll make you the star of the show. The main attraction."
And as she's put into the chair, her hair soaked and tied into a un her legs clamped and everything,
the prisoners all in the crowd, (That is what they are here, after all. Insecure prisoners)
Aradia sees Sollux beside Nepata,
and she fucking smiles.
A big one, too.
they ask her if sh ehas any words.
She says I have nine.
"I regret nothing. and I love you, Sollux Captor.
They pull the lever.
Sollux' shouts are too lost in the sound of frying flesh, garbled screams and gasps of horror.
When nthe show is over,
she's just a semicharred remenant of what he once loved.
What he still does.
(Okay I have an idea. This can be both Sollux/Aradia and all feelsy,
and myabe Sollux eridan idk)
A few months after that,
(We'll skip)
Sollux is told he's free as a bird.
Get the fuck out, kiddo, they found you clean.
You're sane as you'll ever be.
(He still hears voices.
Mostly Aradia's.)
So he walks out.
hugs nep, thanks her for everything.
Says he'll write as soon as he can and as often as he cand and they both promise she'll call him as soon as she's out of the phsyche ward.
When he gets out it's tough.
he gets an apartment, gets a job, life is alright for a while. He can still smell Aradia, sometimes. Not creepily, but sometimes he just catches a lick of her scent in the air, the scent after rain with a dusting of lilacs. Sometimes he hears her laugh.
the voices are still around, not too badly though.
He meets this guy.
He's a douche fin to begin with.
Irish as hell, too.
But they slowly become friends.
Then touches become pets and well,
within maybe a month or three they become kisses and hand holding.
Sollux moves in.
Things are great.
All of a sudden Nepeta calls,
And Sollux doesn't leave his room for a whole week and a half.
because he's blowing the lid off of that mold infested, slaughter house of an asylum.
When he hands the papers to the press,
it's front page news.
They're shut down.
Nepeta comes to see him,
meets Eridan.
And she is so fucking happy for Sollux.
