Despite being a life long Star Trek fan I have not done any wallpapers of the First Lady of Star Trek Majel Barrett who appeared or was heard in every incarnation of the Brand from the Cage to the 2009 re-boot. This wallpaper is designed to look like the Star Trek credits shows Majel as Number One Captain Pikes first officer from "The Cage", done by adding a new background, text & enhancements.Related content

That was never mentioned during the pilot nor was it used in any version of the script, It may have been discussed in a production meeting.

I think it was mentioned in one of the novels. But you're right, it was never used on film so it's not canon. There's even some fiction that has her and Nurse Chapel as sisters.
