A birthday present for a friend of a friend
I'm not usually fond of colouring metal/armour, but I think it actually came out pretty good this time

Wow, that's awesome! Colouring and rendering metallic surfaces are really difficult indeed, and I too think you've pulled it off brilliantly!
Hm, if I'm allowed to be blunt, I feel that the lower torso and thighs look a tad off, but it's nothing too dire to be concerned of, plus it's the work of perspective.
I haven't watched the film yet, but Iron Man has strangely become a likeable character to me recently (probably owed to the remake of his new armour and red being one of my favourite colours)

I like both Iron Man films that are out at the moment - I couldn't choose a favourite though because I love them both for different reasons. Plus the sheer fact that the awesome Robert Downey Jr. is the lead in both

Wonderful art and an outstanding job recreating Iron Man. I just hate the smoke effect. You should have left the background all black or used a dark gradient. Also, the font for the website address is too playful.

The reference image I used had a smoke-like background, and was a commercial piece so I assumed recreating the effect would be okay. Guess it doesn't work too well in cartoon-style

Oh man, I just saw the 2nd movie last night... and this is really amazing, his armour is really hard to draw but you got details down for a really impressive picture
BTW: If you see Iron Man 2, stay and wait for the credits to end. Now I'm psyched for the next Marvel movie...
