♥ Social Butterfly + Despite his rather secluded upbringing, Doyle is still a very social 'mon. He'll strike up a conversation with just about anyone!
♥ Optimistic + Doyle likes to look on the bright side of things. Maybe it's just his instincts as a Plulse, but he always prefers to stay positive!
♥ Humorous + This 'mon has quite the sense of humor. He's almost always cracking jokes, but at least they're in good spirit.
♥ Reckless - Doyle has a bit of a 'devil-may-care' attitude and doesn't mind jumping into the middle of danger.
♥ Cocky - He has a bit too much pride for his own good. Doyle thinks he's one tough cookie, even if that's not exactly the case.

Doyle and Zoey were once just an ordinary set of Plusle and Minun twins. It was common for Plusle and Minun to be born together, piquing the interest of Team Rocket scientists who wondered if their genetics would accept fusion splicing differently. Many sets of twins in the area were captured and brought back to the Hideout for testing, including Doyle and his sister. They were both fused with bits of eevee DNA, surprising the scientists when their appearances changed in very similar ways. They were pushed into training to see if they would both evolve into the same eeveelution, but both twins resolutely refused to evolve. If their appearances were going to change again they wanted it to be on their own terms, not on the scientists. Disappointed with their failure, the scientists enrolled Doyle and Zoey as normal recruits in Rocket Hideout, hoping to see them evolve naturally some day. Upset with their treatment but unable to leave, the twins stayed with the Hideout. They've become quite close with one another, feeling as if there's not many pokemon they can trust other than each other. They plan on eventually moving up the ranks and gaining enough power to get revenge on the scientists who hurt them in the first place.
Things were going well for a time as the twins settled into the Hideout, but tragedy struck when Doyle awoke one morning to find his sister missing. It seems nobody knew what happened to the Eevee/Minun fusion, and she had simply vanished into thin air. Heartbroken at the loss, Doyle retreated into himself for a long time. His attitude tended to be much more reserved and he often refused to even leave his room. He was devastated further when the Hideout moved locations, now sure that he would never see his sister again. On the off chance that she did ever return, how could she find him now? The change of scenery was bittersweet for the young mon, as these walls didn't hold old memories and ended up being a way for Doyle to heal from the loss of his sister. He's come out of his shell a bit since the move, though he isn't quite up to the levels of optimism he used to be. Despite all odds, he does still hold out hope that he'll be able to find his twin again one day.
