This one is very, very nice. I don't mind the slight fuzziness; I think it's just right.

A late, late comment, but I've only just found this. I've seen this circular motif cropping up quite a bit recently, but this is fantastically dramatic, a 'sky of fury' indeed - has overtones of 'Starry Night' and reminds me of a fragment from an Iris Murdoch novel - "stars behind stars behind stars".

A very exquisite design.

Colour:
First of all the use of colour here is brilliant. Never have I seen such a tantalizing colour design. it both matches the flame's composition as well as create an intense feel and look. The way in which they progress from to another is impressive as is the overall choice.
The gradient is perfect for the flame design, as it matches it's topography and style.

Style/Texture:
I feel as if it is both soft but this sharp. This is great because the softer areas are that which go with the less climatic areas, where as the sharper edge areas match the more climatic areas. Then comes the transparency effect which can be seen throughout the piece. That for me was a nice extra touch (whether it was intentional or not).

Flame/Formation:
I see you have used one of ~utak3r 's scripts. I find that here you manage to control the general form of the script, and it has a nice uneven spontaneous look. In fact if I try I can see what look like are eyes; each spiral is like one eye, all different colours. I agree with *sya on how each individual spiral look like they are floating on an unknown universe, but I also feel in conjunction from that it almost likes like a nebula (abstract) with that way the background looks like a star field. It's very impressive.

Composition/Overall:
I think perhaps it could have done with a frame to isolate the image and emphasize its main characteristics to bring out more emotion, but this isn't too much of a concern in this one. However I think it could have done with the text, I found that too much of a distraction. Other than that I find no particular flaws in this area, so that's great to see in such a well constructed image.
Well done.

Wow I don't think I've ever gotten a comment like that before, besides when ~ Hallucinaut comments, but he doesn't make it pretty like that. Thanks much.

Well its not really sparkly, I think its more how the human eye sees the repetitious patterns of the smaller circles before they compact into the larger more defined center part.

Wow, that looks bloody gorgeous, I love the way it glows and sparkles. It also makes me think of solid metal shields, very decorative ones. Fabulous

I think that's the really fun part of fractals, that everyone sees something different in them Thelma.
