Description Alasdair McNab; born a Scot, once a Lord within the Highlands, a moment of betrayal by one of his own led to the actions that caused his betrayal to the two in his life that meant more to him than life itself.

The punishment would be eternity of suffering. Cursed to roam between the living and the dead, belonging to neither, the once man became something much more than his belief led him to exist.

Magi, Druid warrior in life-after his death he became much more. A specter of sorts, one that would eventually be given moments of tangibility and the ability to aid those that were in need of passing out of one realm of existence into the other.

Souls would follow the light generated by him to the next plane, like lightning bugs following a storm-he sent them to their next stage of life.

Even if he was doomed never to follow.

M4, my morphs, my skin and eye textures. Midnight prince hair, Jack of Hearts, Jepe's Elements and loads of post work in the background and for the special effects.

Three point lights and one UE-three days of rendering.

It worked better than I thought it would, though the post seemed to put it a liiiittle too much like a illustration than I had planned. I really liked how this came out, for the most part. Thank you!!!

Thank you so much! Every time I render that outfit, it takes FOREVER and a day...at least with my lighting settings and crap. I like how it came out!

I never u complicated lights. I do not own all this Uberstuff, only have the base lights plus I import some stuff from my poser install like IBLs... Still - this outfit takes its time, I know.

The Uber lights come with DS3, Mav. XD They come in handy especially for ambient lighting purposes-if nothing else.

I usually add two or three basic lights (pin/point, distant and maybe a spot) for dramatic effects. I don't remember if I've even tried IBL's. o.O

Hm.

When I get back, I'll see about playing with those, too.

Oh no, so I have this Uber stuff as well then? bahahaha, I never paid attention to that. All I do is adding distant lights, spot lights and point lights and then importing lights from poser...

See, I am such a noob!

Yeeeeeah, whatever! LOL!!! You should see it somewhere in the Light folder, Mav-IF you wanna use it. Just remember to use additional lighting (distant works best for me) with the UE if you do. I usually don't if I want to keep it strictly for ambient lighting-which you can find in the scroll down menu in the parameters portion of your screen. Play with the thing! Sometimes it comes up with effects you may not expect.

Oh I might play with that, why not... I have been very happy with my lighting so far but I also like trying out new stuff...

Which is my curse-I kept trying new things for over a year (applications included-Bryce, Carrara (Four versions) Zbrush, Vue, 3dsMax, ect---and ended up wasting the trial periods on all of the applications and letting go my Daz workings. Which is part of why I feel like I've not gotten as far along in my rendering/texture making as I'd like to be.

I'm WAY behind.

XD

I am way behind too... So what... I am too busy with other things as well. In my new job I am learning all kinds of things with the whole adobe creative suite and this keepy my head busy. Lately I have been drawing photorealistic vectors which makes me kinda proud but it also takes a lot of my attention away from my own personal work with DAZ / texturing. Also I am working on a project for a computer game which needs lots of attention. No head for learning new stuff,, so I keep on doing the same old same old...
