They need to put more of THIS dialogue into Star Wars. But, it would probably make it look more like a spoof i guess...
One of the better humor moments that I've heard is actually in Battlefront II, when Obi-Wan says "I suppose diplomacy is out of the question?" when they're all killing each other. Another one is in the 3rd Star Wars film (Revenge of the Sith), when Obi-Wan says to Anakin "We have a job to do Anakin, try not to upset him".

Yeah, ObiWan always had those good lines, like in Ep1 after the get attacked at the beginning he says "you were right about one thing, the negotiations were short". Or Han Solo in the trash compacter "We're all gonna be alot thinner"

Once again your talent for lighting and colour have excelled! Eludajae looks especially good. Her eyes look really menacing and none of that is lost from the darkness and limited palette from the red lightsabre. I like how the shadows make her eyebrows look all the more powerful, drawing even more attention to the eyes. The lips of both women are great as well. They look almost like liquid.

Hasn't Shaak Ti been thru enough getting killed? This is very nicely textured and framed and all, but...eh, oh well. In the next frame, Ti just chops her legs off with her own saber anyway.

Thanks. I had a nice extremely large head picture to work with that I pretty much based everything on. Still not too happy with the color texturing, but i can work on that. Now I can get to that silhouette image for you.

colors look good to me, togrutas are all red/orangish, you have. they have the white skin in patterns on their body, Ti on her eyes like that, you have. the montrals are always white, you have. the lines on the montral are usually dull dark or light greys or dull lighter blues, Ti is dull medium grey, you have. lips are darker red, you have. i don't see what's wrong wti her colors, the only issue i have is with 4 parts:
1. that lightsaber, the black blade (?) parts coming off of it, it took me like 5+ minutes to figure out it was part of the lightsaber, i thought she had cut through Ti's montral and a chunk of her neck, which didn't make sense to me but yeah. there needs to be some other form of contrast there because of the black background, to make it easier to understand that that is part of the lightsaber.
2. the montral under the other woman's face, it has zigzag looking patterns in it. directly beneath the black lightsaber blade (lower one) it looks like there's a X in the pattern, which there shouldn't be, the patter is the same all the way down to the tip which ends completely as the stripe or as the white of the montral. thought that could just be because of the lighting i'm not sure.
3. lightsabers don't actually light up the area around them, they light up only the blade nothing near it (Lucas stated this) i don't understand how he thinks there is any way in hell something will light up in the dark but won't light up anything around it but...
4. Ti's head, idk something about the lighting seems just a bit off, i'm not sure what or why.
but the colors and textures are rather good, only some minor issues with lighting and contrast.

Actually it's not the color per se but more the texture mapping. That weird x you mentioned and the fact that the layering leading into the lekku, the colors should be where the folds are (at least on Shaak Ti) and so far they're not. But I'll fix all that. And a few minor modeling issues but all in all I'm pretty happy with the mesh.
I wasn't aware of Lucas stating that about the lightsabers. I think it looks far better for them to cast light. Chances are Lucas said that because it's easier to not have to rotoscope the lighting in, but interestingly enough I got the idea for how cool it would look from here [link] fast forward to 2:20 and watch.
And now for a secret.........Yeah, the light on Shaak Ti is a completely separate one from the rest of the scene, and the reason is because the other light didn't properly shade her brow wrinkles, it made her face look flat and expressionless, so I had to throw a light above her head that lit only her

it's kinda sad he says they don't cast light yet they do even in his movies *sighs* so... bothersome... he like most people are so contradictive, i think it also had them lighting up things around them in the older ones too, but they could have fixed that in the newer movies easily....
