A picture of my Pokémon Trainer OC (or rather how I picture myself in the Pokémon series) and his usual team of Pokémon.
These characters will also be appearing in my Pokémon fanfic.

"Job" on the team: Somewhat of the leader, but not exactly that.

Region: Unova

Hometown: Nuvema Town

Goal: To become a Pokémon Master, to travel the world, and to inspire others to follow their dreams

Personality: Michael has a similar personality to Ash. Warm-hearted, Well-intentioned, all that. But he's less rash and reckless than he is, Michael's also quite intelligent, level-headed, and competitive too. Michael cares for his Pokémon and never pushes them past their limit, even when it's against a Pokémon it has the type-advantage against, wanting the battle to be fair.
When it comes to villains, Michael usually prefers to reason it out between them, but will fight if he has no other choice or if his Pokémon get stolen. Michael isn't a sore loser and will congratulate the trainer who battled him for how well they did against him.

Battle Strategy: Michael sometimes prefers higher level and type advantage, but he'll follow/listen to the strategies his friends give out if he needs them.

Backstory: Michael got his first Pokémon when he was 10 as an egg (Foxfire), but he didn't go out on a Pokémon journey as he preferred the comforts of home. But he did travel occasionally even though he never battled. He's even been to the hometowns of Devan and Jhonas: Floccesy Town and Castelia City when he traveled. It was when he was 16 he started off on his Pokémon journey with his friends, capturing new Pokémon, making new friends, and enjoying the adventure.

Skills: Michael is capable of inventing many devices to help out on his journeys due to his intelligence and always carries a small (but powerful) solar-powered laptop computer in his hip-pack which he uses for various things (it can even act as a small mobile Pokémon Center), making him a computer whiz too. Michael’s most popular invention is probably his backpack, which comes with a pair of 4-fingered extendable robotic Ambipom-like arms and a pair of smaller 3-fingered robotic arms with what seem to be wristbands on them. All four of these arms seem to be able to move at will and help Michael with multitasking. (Michael’s backpack comes with many other devices, such as 6 long spider-like legs for climbing things like walls and trees, an inflatable airbag for breaking falls, an umbrella, an electric tazer, a tracking system, a satellite dish-like object used for recharging its batteries by absorbing Electric attacks from Pokémon, and a pair of buzzsaws capable of cutting through anything, including steel! The devices in the bag can be activated by voice command or by the high-tech goggles Michael has. Despite all this stuff, the backpack is actually very lightweight and it's armor plating is so strong that not even a Haxorus could break it open!). Michael also invented 5 small multicolored capsules that when the button on them is pushed, they transform into different appliances depending on which one is used: Refrigerator (violet), Oven & Microwave (red), Lawn Mower (green), Washing machine (blue), Fan or Air Conditioner (yellow). These devices also have special buttons on them to transform them back into capsule form, for easier transport (even if there's something inside them such as the fridge). Michael is even skilled in home-based things like cooking and he occasionally prepares the food for everyone thanks to the appliance capsules. Michael's also a talented artist and has a sketchpad and drawing materials, which he uses to draw whatever he sees that catches his eyes. He also has a video camera which he sometimes uses to record events or to even take pictures. Michael is also somehow capable of creating his own powers when his Pokémon aren't available via the red and yellow gloves he wears, which can allow him to control the Elements of Electricity, Fire, Grass, Water, Flying, Psychic, and even Dragon! But he never uses these powers unless he really has to. Despite being more like a computer wiz and an inventor, Michael is also very athletic and can sprint 10 miles without getting too exhausted.

Items: Michael has a bunch of items. The ones in his high-tech backpack are spare Poké balls (of many kinds, mostly ultra-balls), his sketchbook & drawing materials, a first aid kit, medical supplies for Pokémon (such as hyper & max potions, max revives, Full Restores/Heals, Max Ethers, Max Elixers, and Rare Candy), a bag for berries (Oran, Rawst, Pecha, you name it), a TM/HM case, repels to use against dangerous Pokémon, a bunch of Key items (like a bicycle [don't ask me how it can fit into his bag, that's Pokémon logic], a map, a super rod, a prop case, etc.) his video camera, his solar-powered laptop computer, & his own appliance capsules. Michael also wears a pair of golden yellow high-tech goggles, which can help him control the devices his backpack has after he puts them on. (The goggles can also help him see in certain ways, such as night, thermal, and x-ray vision, they also have a GPS for locating where Michael or his companions are and even places they’re trying to get to, the goggles even have a built-in scanner in which helps Michael find out about certain people and objects by simply looking at them). Michael also has a wallet and Pokédex in his pockets, has a Xtransceiver on his left wrist, and the Poké balls that contain his Pokémon are visible on his belt.

POKEMON (on hand only)

Foxfire (Vulpix*)
Gender: Male
Nature: Relaxed, Good endurance
Moves: Flamethrower, Extrasensory, Imprison, & Fire Spin
Personality: Foxfire is a friendly Pokémon and is easy to get along with, he is strongly loyal to his trainer and never disobeys him. Even though Michael is his trainer, Foxfire prefers to see him as a friend instead. Foxfire is also very perceptive and will easily pick up on those with bed intentions/thoughts before anyone else does, in which he'll do whatever he can to defend his friends. Foxfire's also a bit spoiled, being Michael's first Pokémon, but he's by no means selfish thanks to his friendly and loyal attitude.
Info: Michael's first and main Pokémon, always stays out of his Poké ball. Foxfire's been with Michael since he was an egg and holds a strong bond with his trainer & best friend, he also has a good friendship with the other trainers' main Pokemon: Devan's Suicune and Cirno, Jhonas' shiny Gardevoir. Foxfire is also capable of telepathy, allowing him to talk with humans and to translate what Pokemon are saying to them. When it comes to getting treatment from his trainer, Foxfire's favorite is getting belly rubs. Whenever the group takes a break from the journey, Foxfire would often roll onto his back to receive the treatment from his trainer whether to relieve stress or just to get some comfort. Foxfire also seems to be capable of some human reflexes too.

Zebstrika
Gender: Male
Nature: Jolly, Likes to run
Moves: Shock Wave, Charge, Flame Charge, & Spark (he also knows Flash, but this isn't for battle, but is used at night and in dark places)
Personality: Despite the fact he looks like he may have a temper, Zebstrika almost never gets mad. He is also quite playful (a trait he inherited as a Blitzle) and loves to toy around with his trainer. Zebstrika's also good friends with Foxfire, being the second-caught Pokemon of Michael. Zebstrika also has his eyes on Devan's shiny Rapidash, in other words, he has a crush on her.
Info: Zebstrika is basically the fastest Pokémon on Michael's team (with Ninetales in second according to the stats), which in turn makes him a difficult target for other Pokémon. Zebstrika will also carry Michael on his back much like a horse if his trainer needs to get somewhere as quickly as possible.

Leafeon
Gender: Male
Nature: Careful, Hates to lose
Moves: Leaf Blade, Synthesis, Magical Leaf, & Solar Beam
Personality: Leafeon is a friendly kind of guy and by "hates to lose", it means he hates to lose his friends, not battles. He has a strong bond with Vaporeon, making them a boyfriend/girlfriend couple. Leafeon is also a bit cautious and he'll ready himself for battle if he hears anything suspicious, ready to deal the first strike. Despite this, he's very peaceful and rarely chooses to fight.
Info: He was caught around the same time as Vaporeon while they were both an Eevee back in the day. Leafeon's also very skilled in healing and can find berries and medicinal herbs with ease when he needs to, he's also somewhat of a swordsman since he's capable of Leaf Blade. He can also carry Vaporeon despite the fact she's heavier than him. When the team takes a break from travelling, Leafeon can usually be found sunbathing nearby.

Vaporeon
Gender: Female
Nature: Bashful, Likes to relax
Moves: Hydro Pump, Surf, Ice Beam, & Scald
Personality: Vaporeon is quite a playful and shy character, but she's easy to get along with if you know how to talk to her. She enjoys swimming and likes to carry others with her when needed. As mentioned above, she has a strong boyfriend-girlfriend bond with Leafeon.
Info: Being a water type, Vaporeon is a very skilled swimmer and is actually the best water-type on her trainer's team, she's also the one Michael calls upon for when he needs to get across a body of water. Due to her shy nature, she will hide in the water and melt her molecules down to its level when someone new comes by. But if there's no water nearby, she'll hide behind something like a rock, a tree, or even her own trainer! Being a good swimmer also makes her skilled in acrobatics and she is fully capable of gracefully dodging enemy attacks as a result.

Ninetales
Gender: Female
Nature: Gentle, Strong willed
Moves: Flamethrower, Attract, Protect, & Energy Ball
Personality: Ninetales is basically the mother on the team, usually looking out for them as she's basically the oldest one on the team (excluding Reshiram). Ninetales motherly personality also makes her very kind-hearted and helpful to younger and smaller Pokémon.
Info: Due to only having two moves that deal damage, Ninetales is more of a defender/protector on the team. Interestingly, Ninetales does a little dance when she uses Attract on a Pokémon.

Reshiram
Gender: Genderless
Nature: Quiet, Thoroughly cunning
Moves: Fusion Flare, Fly, Dragon Claw, & Blue Flare
Personality: Being a Legendary, Reshiram is basically the wise member of the team and is capable of telepathy. Sometimes Reshiram talks in a similar way like Yoda does when it uses telepathy. Reshiram is also quite caring for its trainer and will look after him with its life, Reshiram is also gentle when around smaller and younger Pokemon, always being careful around them even in battle.
Info: Reshiram is pretty much Michael's most powerful Pokémon (aside from Foxfire), he's also the one Michael turns to when he needs to fly somewhere when needed. Sometimes Reshiram will take off into the unknown when he isn't needed, but will always return to Michael when called upon.
