My Little Pony - Discord and Pinkie PieEverybody loves Celestia/Discord. Which I can see why. Heck, I like it too. But what I REALLY like is Pinkie/Discord. And it saddens me to see so little art for it.
So here, have some crappy fanart. Ooo ooo, and chocolate rain!

first of all its great fan art not crappy. but really. i do think they are soul mates, but as friends. they are more like brother and sister from another life. people really like the Yin and Yang of either fluttershy and discord (even though shes too young) or the more realistic Celestia and Discord.
even in the beginning of the episode he's like "did you miss me celestia...? I missed you". Something happened in the past.

I like to think that Discord and Celestia USE to have a relationship, but he moves on to Pinkie Pie because well... they kind of fit. I love this pairing as well and find this picture wonderful

Many people feel that Dislestia is kind of ex-boyfreind vs ex-girlfriend ship... though I don't get why O_o Personally I think it's more of heroine x villain ship. FoeYay... You know, Discord used to be an immortal ruler of Equestria, but Celestia decided to defend ponies from his tyranny (so she's a young heroine). Her side-kick Luna helps her. So Discord due to his flirty (I mean it XD He kind of... show chemistry with many fillies O_o) nature thinks that she's jut a young pretty filly who tries to stop him. She's powerful, she uses powerful magic. And he likes such fillies. He flirts with her, she hates it. And he likes teasing and irritating ponies. FoeYay. But well, she defeats him in the end XD Surrrprise! She tries to forget his irritating face but then he reappears and she's just mad and even a bit scared... Sorry for my rant, I think I really need to make a comic or story about it...

Never say sorry for an interesting rant! Heck, even if it was something completely off the wall, I don't do censorship. Your wall of text could have just been telling me I was a boot licker, and I'd still allow it. LOL
On to the topic at hand...
You bring up some interesting points, in your small print that made my eyes explode. I just always felt they had history. Ex- was the only way I could describe it. But that's true! Knowing celestia...it would have probably made it hard for her to give into someone like Discord anyway. That, and I DID notice how Discord was flirting with...EVERYBODY. LOL. Though, if we bring up your points, he was fixated on Twilight the most. "The most powerful element of them all...Maaagic!"
I think Discord gets a kick out of breaking people in general. (Ah, like a real troll, he is.) Which explains why he was so frustrated and had to resort to cheating to win over the ever agreeable Fluttershy. XD
It may be just me...But I also always felt that Discord was what turned Luna into Nightmare Moon...somehow. Which I think adds more of Celestia's hate towards Discord. And makes me wonder if Celestia had Luna sent away/hidden for her protection. And I also can't help but feel that targeting people like Luna and Twilight were more like ways of getting to Celestia, as well.

I agree, I feel that Discord has thing about the magic and magical ponies. Twilight, Celestia, Pinkie (you know, the infamous 4th breaker) and Rarity. I guess Twilight reminds him of younger Celestia
And yes, I don't think Celestia would ever fall in love with him. But he... Funny, it seems to be quite possible! Well, you know these villains. I want it, I get. If I don't I'll ruin my life but do anything to get it!
True. I guess they did defeat him. But he used the last second to curse Luna. Something like this:
Celestia na Luna: *use fabulous fancy magic*
Discord: Noooo! *hit by the rainbow. Smirks and sends a dark ray in Luna. Hits her with it. Becomes a stone*
Celestia: Luna! We did it! Luna&!
Luna: I-I'm okay, sis! It's just a scratch!
*both go to celebrate the victory*
Discord: *the statue's eyes glow, it looks like he's smiling. And we can see a dark glimpse in Luna's eyes*

So basically...Discord just wants his harem, man. all the ponies can be his mares. And maybe a stallion too. Because he's chaos, and chaos sometimes likes buttsex on the side.
...Why the heck did I feel compelled to make that joke? LOL Oh well

I don't know DiscoPie seems to have quite a lot of fanart, especially good ones, I don't usually fave any DisPie work, but this is well done, the balloons, the chocolate rain.

LOL....And then you put me in a corner where I probably sound like an elitist (which I'm not). Can I at least safely say that I haven't seen many pieces, good or otherwise, until after I posted this? I only found out there was a name (let alone a CLUB) after I posted this pic.
I will say, though, I'm not a big fan of the human Dispie art. But that's just from it being a peeve, not that the work is bad. I DID keep running into that.

As for the colors, weeeeell...LOL. If Pinkie Pie and Discord are involved, it's bound to be colorful. Heck, I felt like I was drawing rainbow vomit all over the page while working on this. XD Color chaos! Haha! Buuut, I'm glad you like how it turned out.

I say draw whatever makes you happy. I think happiness and enjoyment shows through ones art, just as strongly as any other emotion. If you enjoy yourself, others will flock to you because they can sense it too. Or at least, that's what I've found from my own experience.

I think Celestia and Discord do have some obvious chemistry. I just think they have more of a "ex-lovers" vibe. Just me, personally. And honestly...I can't really see any other pinkie pie ship (besides her with Rainbow Dash. But I always ship Dash with Applejack anyway.)

It's mostly the shading that bothers me. I usually do cell shading, so this method just looks a little wonky to me. But again, thank you. I'm glad you do like it.
