Becky uses the baseball bat for protection because the neighbourhood where her apartment is its pretty rough so when she goes to work she takes her bat with her just in case.

One that's very dangerous for both people and especially toons... she lives in a very rough part of the city as well as Earl and his nan.

That's. . .kinda sad when you think about it. Considering Earl, you wouldn't really think a sweet guy like him would live in a rough neighborhood.

Earls part of the neighbourhood is not as bad as Becky's but it does occasionally get robbery's cause nice houses with elderly people is easy targets for jerks

True although what is sad is that Becky's landowner doesn't like toons at all so they're not allowed to live in the apartment because of this Becky's (SPOILER ALERT) own toons have to stay at sillyvision  studios, thankfully the landowners brother is much nicer and allowed Bendy to stay with Becky for a couple of days while his brother was away.
