Description
In 2020, the Democratic Party was taken over my Far-Left members and began forming it into a purely socialist party. They promoted their members to abandon the traditional democratic system and preached armed rebellion. Extremist groups like Antifa became militias who attacked police and Republican officials. The violence forced President Trump to declare Martial Law. The move promoted many leftist states to declare secession and form the socialist American Democratic Republic with New York City as it's Capital. Many states, however, became divided with more Republican areas forming guerrilla groups to fight the new Democratic Republic's Armed Forces. Many government states also faced leftist guerrilla forces as well. President Trump was forced to relocate the National Capital to down South, setting up in Austin, Texas. The Armed Forces of both governments became a combination of trained soldiers who joined sides and everyday citizens who believed in the ideas of their side. After 4 years of fighting, the Government side holds most of the land and arms, while the Democratic Republic has an iron hold on their territory and an extremist army to fight for it.
