This is so whimsical! I love earthy-warm colour choices, and the highlighting choices you made when it came to her face. You almost fooled me into thinking this was traditional work, and then I saw the criteria it was in. Amazing! The textures looked so traditionally done, and it's really good. Great work.

Yes I painted it in Photoshop. Theres a lot of painterly brushes you could download for free here in DA. Some of it are very nice actually. It make your brush stroke almost looks like a real traditional brushes.
