My singing that is so corny that it is enough to make decent corn soup!! LMFAO! XXXD
Allow me to explain in a nutshell...
After finishing off my previous journal on DA (Darkspeeds Journal Entry #95 [link] ) I decided to spend my first day of study break to reflect on Tails Away. After listening to ONE PIECE's anime intro: "We Are!" I was inspired and thus this drawing came to life!
(Oh and the singing too... *SHOT* LMAO! XXD) I've always wanted to come up with an anime intro song for Tails Away, I'll try to come up with the full lyrics sometime in future. If you haven't listened to the snipet then try the link above. 
Thanks for your love and support on the Tails Away series everyone! I will get back to it shortly after I'm done with some pages from SA2 Fan-Comic.

P.S. Uhm... For some reason... Tails looks kinda sexy there! LMAO! XXXXD What do you think? = ) I dunno why but he looks attractive... (from an artist point of view! O_o;; *SHOT*) I'm happy with how I did his body, it looks more proportionate and such! And the same with Amy! ^_^ I like how I did her expression!
It's as if she's enjoying herself looking down at the beautiful world that is True Skies! ^__^

Nice poses for the characters. I am happy that someone can make ear looks 3D rather than flat 2D, lol! Be careful when drawing poses though, like I've said in my previous comment it may be wise to draw the characters pose out as a stickman first. I know this can be rather hard and tricky at first, learning new ways to improve works usually is but once youβve practised enough it will become very easy.
I can see that Tails is piloting a hovercraft of sorts the only problem I can see with it is the steering controls. The hand closet to us looks like he's broken the stealing and is holding that part of the joystick in his hand. The far hand seems to be missing his thumb. It's hard to tell what he is doing because you're shaded it do much. Also the arm closest too us looks odd...but then again that could be because Sonic characters don't tend to have necks making the anatomy look a bit weird?
You appear to be very good at shading but be careful not to over do it. It seems you like to use the black markers a lot which is a good thing. As in the comics Spawn the creator told his artists not to be afraid to use the colour black and heavily shade. This can have some very good effects. But be careful not to just shade in dark areas for the sake of it. I've noticed in many of your works you tend of over shade when there's no need too. Plan where the shadow and light will go and then colour those areas in and then leave it be otherwise you just add so much shading or black to a nice picture that you spoil it. Perhaps try hatching and cross-hatching but do try and cut down on overly shading everything.
Itβs still a good picture I do like the accessories Tails is wearing. Just keep practising and donβt forget to try out some life drawing. It helps for drawing Humans and Anthros!

Someone is teaching me the basics! XD And on top of that giving me some tips and suggestions on some of the advance techiques.
Cheers for your in-depth and constructive commentary on this drawing as well as Autumn Dance, however I feel that most of things you've said is rather uneccessary. ^_^
I'm not going pro so there is no need to take serious lessons in 'how to draw hands' or 'how to shade perfectly' as you've implied in both of your comments. Don't get me wrong here that's just how I feel from what you wrote, it's just my opinion that's all. ^^
I suggest that you practice on your anatomy and hands too, in some of your drawings the characters look rather disproportionate but it could be because you're aiming for a chibi look no? ^_^

BTW the photographs on Autumn Dance were taken from an online photo archive. Those photos can be used for recreational purposes regarding the presentation of art. So just in case, they're not photos that I've taken!

Don't get me wrong your works have a lot of potential and are good but please don't have the attitude βIβm not going pro so I wonβt tryβ stop you from learning or improving in your works. Itβs not excuse to not bother learning or expand on what you already know. You don't have to go 'pro' to improve, you can still view your talent as a hobby rather than a profession and still draw the best you can. If you keep building barriers you're work will never advance and become something which you can truly call your own style. Granted I am learning too, not taking an Animation course at University and studying Human and Animal anatomy for nothing, lol! Actually I am trying to aim away from Anime-Chibi and the like. But again I have a lot to learn but I am learning new things all the time that I add to improve upon my works.
You have one thing, the ability to draw and a lot of people will be in amazed at what you can do but donβt let the kind words or encouragement make you stop trying. Kind words and encouragement is a great thing but you also need to stand back, view your works and see what you could improve on next time. Iβm not trying to put you off or put you down, far from it! But if all you get is praise then it can be harder to see where or what to improve on. When you get the slightest criticism it can come as a shock. But use that to prove people wrong and give it your best shot. Sorry for what seems like a rant, I tend to do that.
Perhaps I have too much passion in my works but for me I try my hardest to aim for the best I can create and then I can sit back I be chuffed that I did a great job.

but i remember reading the comic version of tails away at SOAH on (what used to be) planetdreamcast.com and tails said he wanted to take amy with him on his journey, BUT, he told sonic that amy wasn't coming because tails knew sonic's "concerns for amy" (*cough*helovesher*couch*).

Before I comment, I have one tiny, tiny insignificant thing to point out... =O
"Believe me that tomorrow!" and "I'll find the answers" are technically one sentence, and thus there shouldn't be an exclaimation mark after "tomorrow".
*cough* Ahem.
I like the way the drawing is placed right on the edge like that. That way, it shares focus with the text. Superb detailing. I'd definately say pencil shading is one of your strongest points. Excellent work with angle and detail. Tails looks so confident and detirmined, and Amy looks sort of... enthralled by the wonder of being so far above the ground. You established a nice sense of movement, too. Very well done! =]

It's funny how you're the only one (actually one of few) on Sonic/DA community who critically analyses and correct peoples minor mistakes. I appreciate your observation. I've made the correction and it sure looks better.

I definately have to go along with the "Tails is smexy" statement. And I also have to add "At least you can actually sing... T_T" I couldn't do anything with my singing... byside killing a few stray cats. But I like kitties too much to want to sing in public. *slow nod*
Even if a sonic doesn't sound very right at all, the lyrics of the song are often what matter most. In truth, some songs are written for their lyrics alone, rather than for the way they sound. (Which is why I sometimes like listening to Tails' SA1 and SA2 themesongs) ... Songs like those are a nice break from songs that have words and lyrics that are filled with a bunch of hateful and/or degrading crap that no one seems to mind as longa s the music sounds good. =_=
