I am really, really loving this design! Myself, I sort of think that the whole bug/steel typing is overdone, but hey, conceptually, it works quite well for Gigatlas. (Bug/Rock would be kind of neat, in my opinion) I do my own fakemon on my facebook page, though not as many as I'd like.

I like the design and I always thought that pincer should have an evo. but it doesn't much matter how defensive he is with that 4x weakness to fire.

It's his only weakness, and Scizor and Foretress are quite common in competitive battling. I want a Dark type Pinsir evo, though...

About damn time someone made training Pinsir's ass worthwhile. And I don't know if this was intentional, but you've given Gigatlas the same advantage as Scizor: the bug/steel type combo eliminates all weaknesses except to the fire type, so, Bonus!

sorry, but Scizor is always gonna be my fave, I've just always felt that poor pinsir was just lagging behind. As far as the new games go, however, I'm pulling for Forretress.

Yeah, but only cause his most powerful move at his early levels is selfdestruct. In HG and SS, though, he gets Bug Bite and a couple other decent moves until he evolves. He's slow as hell, but I figured out how to use that to my advantage: Payback, Avalanche, Gyro Ball, and Counter all rely on the opponent being faster, so they're all perfect for Forretress
