Upon seeing an amazing holiday submission such as this, I could not let it go un-critiqued.
When I see Tana frozen in ice this way, a few causes come to mind, but the most likely cause is that she met a magician who could harness the power of ice, and that magician encased her in that ice prison.
Just look at that position where she ended up in that deep freeze. Her mouth is frozen into a silent scream as she seems to be screaming for help. The texture and detail of the ice crystal that has encased her looks almost the same as actual ice. It even reflects the sun's rays in several places. Meanwhile, the expression of the young Pegasus Knight lets anyone know she's not cool with Cryokinetic spells, especially when they're aimed at her. Her wide eyes let anyone know that she's never felt so afraid as she does right now, and she also fears that she may never thaw out.
