Done for a Previews contest from Whitewolf. Ended up with first place and some really cool prize stuff.Mixed media acrylics, inks, marker and color pencil 2000

i truley love this piece, the artwork is just beutiful. however this is not a wendigo. a real wendigo is ........ much much worse. i see more of a warrior here.

I have to say this is incredibly beautiful (and I've seen it pirated a few times to say the least... I'd tell you but It's been years)
I was just curious, how big was the actual physical artwork? Inches/cm? That tiny detail looks like it would have been hell on anything smaller than a full canvas

The Wendigo is NOT a werewolf! The Wendigo is a mythical monster from Inuit fable. It is said that if a human being eats the flesh of another human being, the cannibal will mutate into a Wendigo. And unlike a werewolf, there is no hope for a Wendigo. Once it's changed into a Wendigo, it's a Wendigo for life!

*shifty eyes* I see the glyph for ahroun but that's the only one I recognize off the bat other than the glyph for wendigo. I like how you incorporated those, by the way. On an unrelated note: There's a really good quiz online to find out which tribe you fit most and my bf was dubbed a member of Wendigo. He was also born under the full moon so I find mild irony and amuzement in this. XD
I can almost feel the rage portrayed by his expression. My heart wants to skip because I just love this piece so much. I can't draw wolves or animals all that well so your work always makes me happy just looking at it. I want to hug you but as that is not possible I give you internet hugs. *hugs* Anyway, the beeds are absolutely awesome. I get lost so easily in details and you make my eyes jump all over the place just to take it all in. My love goes out to you yet again.
