It's been a while since I last submitted something and to be honest, this piece is very different from my usual stuff. I know that it might be totally simple and not very well drawn or creative, I did not spent much time on it and I have only worked when I felt like doing something (which was always during late nights...). At first I didn't even know what I was doing and just brushed around. Then, after some thinking, I came up with this concept, which was quite a surprise as I've never intented to do something like this piece. But somehow it developed and ended up being a space scene. Even though it is totally cliche, I still feel like submitting it and getting some response.To be honest, I like to work with the airbrush tools and stuff, creating the planet was fun, too. And I think it is a very good exercise to break out of one's usual working style and to do something totally different from time to time...therefore, I enjoyed making this piece and I hope to get some feedback which might be very useful in some of my future works!

This is really beautiful. I love the colours and I think you did a fantastic job on just about everything here. If I could change one thing, it'd be to add more of those gorgeous colours in the whiter areas of this piece, so that they're not so strongly concentrated in the lower left corner. I adore the soft white atmosphere... I know this is a very different style for you, but I hope it isn't the last time you use it.

ich find die Softness mit der du da ans Werk gegangen bist richtig gut.
auch die Farben die sich untereinander so schön die Hand geben gefallen mir richtig gut.
Auch das sich das Auge irgendwie automatisch entspannt beim anschaun (so ists zumindest bei mir ^^") find ich gut.

insgesamt fänd ichs schön sowas auf meiner Decke übern Bett zu haben wo ich gleich mal in den Weltraum schaun kann, während ich noch dabei bin aufzuwachen.

Wow... This piece is very pretty.. I really like who whispy the light-cloudy substance is, and how it blends with the violet and turqouise background. As many have already said, this is a refreshing perspective of a usually much darker view of space, and I couldn't agree more. The atmosphere isn't simply peacefull, its the zenith of our dreams. Please experiment more with this!

Du hast vollkommen recht, das ist nicht wirklich mein Stil - eher so ein Experiment um ein bisserl was ohne 3D zu machen und um zu "entspannen". Im Übrigen hab ich da auch mal probiert Wolken zu malen...

i really like the midtone selections you have used here, but in the top portion of the piece they run so closely together that it almost give the impression of being blank.
this, of course, adds to the theme immensely, and i wouldn't recommend changing it hastily.
perhaps adding a little more in this case would be dangerous to the piece... eh heh
