Long ago, before time existed, before anything existed like we know it now, there was nothing but a swirling torrent of Chaos that extended forever. But in this torrent, a single creature existed. It was unknown if it had always existed here, or if it was created by some other force.

The figure was colossal. Simply viewing it's true form would mean death, but to look upon the avatar one would be given insight from beyond the stars. With arms that shone like the light of the sun and burned with brilliant energy, and arms that coursed with dancing lights and crumbling land. His eyes shown with dreadful lightning and flames that poured fourth, able to burn even the most powerful of creatures with a simple glare, and his hair, a swirling vortex of gray and white that allowed blue bolts of lightning to skitter to and fro. This creature was known as "The One" or "The Creator".

A God... no... one of the great Old Gods.

An Elder God.

But he knew that he was not alone in this vortex of Chaos. The voices within the void told him so, he knew of other galaxies and universes that contained others, and sensed more like himself in his own world. But the voices continued to speak, the mindless babbling of the Chaos spoke and convinced him to stand and find these others. If they existed, they would surely wish to be the only one, and therefore must be eliminated. Hunt the hunter to stay alive.

So the Creator dashed through the endless void to find the others, and soon came across a being more vast than he. A creature so Grandiose that he, even with his scope of vision, could not fully comprehend.

This, Was Ruinosus. Another being of vast power, that only the title of Elder God could encapsulate. Or perhaps it was an Elder Goddess? It shifted and as it breathed, billions of insects would pour from it's mouth at a time, clouds and clouds of these terrible chitinous creatures flitting about in seemingly random patterns before stopping to land on the creature.

Ruinosus roared. A noise unfathomable by human standards and terrifying to the gods. The Creator Could See that this beast agreed with him. Hunt the hunter to stay alive.

The beings clashed. A display of energy unrivaled. The clash spread, encapsulating the chaos in a flash of great light that dispersed the ambient energies throughout the multiverse. Even on a molecular level, the energy was breaking and recreating it's self, evolving quickly and creating new matter.

The Creator braved the Beast and as it gripped on to him, he raised his arm, the power of a thousand stars gathering into his claw.

He gripped the pestilent creature's tongue and finished the battle. Tearing the heart of the beast from it's hide and summoning up his divine energies, He forced his energy upon the beast until in a massive explosion, Ruinosus's pieces were scattered in a Big Bang. This energy the ambient Chaos and allowed other energies to seep in, the energies of time, space, Good, Evil and Law.

Feeling satisfied, The Creator placed the still living heart in the open space he'd created and admired his trophy. However, he was not alone in his admiration as he detected two others.....

So Here is Ruinosus, The Elder god/goddess of Pestilence, destruction, gluttony, and disease. I say God/Goddess because no one is sure if it even gave it's self a gender. When it existed it was extremely huge, Large enough that our sun would most likely be the size of one of it's eyes.

And also, the Creator is there as well, the one who created the Gods Saphroth, Degra, Demoni, and Assmoneustrega. He is very quiet, but also very vengeful which is why he is the god of Vengence, Wrath, Retribution , and Creation. His strength is nearly unrivaled by anyone save for Wolfdog when he is at is strongest.

There is a resemblance of Chaos in him as when the body of Chaos was created by the gods, they created him to be a parody of The Creator's image, to mock him.

The Creator is one of the Oldest characters in Nightmares, however it wasn't until recently I depicted his avatar. And Ruinosus is actually fairly new and added to the series. Ruinosus was originally something I had created for a contest I was entering. It was a "create your own Kaiju" contest (A Kaiju is a monster like Godzilla) and I made Ruinosus, an alien monster that crashed on Earth years ago. In that story it told of him crashing into Earth and being the true reason why Pompeii fell. However I lost, and was left with a big monster I couldn't just leave sitting around, so in the end I made him and or her, an elder god, XD.

So heeeere ya go, the first part of how the Urth, AND Earth, was created.
