been awhile since i drew merscout lol...this started off as a doodle and i spent time bit longer on it...

IN WHICH Scout is secretly a merman that The Red Spy found one day as a little guppy and ended up giving to a Bostonian woman for safekeeping since he couldn’t look after the cute little bugger due to his job.
Years later, he ends up fighting the very same guppy, but now he’s a young man, and as far as he knows, completely unaware of his own heritage. . . Manages to find out, despite their Boss’s protocal to keep them out of contact with the outside world, that this is indeed the same guppy-child he found, and is now struggling to avoid killing him at every turn.
His mask always seems a little soaked after each new battle, tinted with salt like the sea the child -a child that could have been his- came from.
