Description
After finishing 'Athena' I decided I might as well try to do a complete series. I knew that if I did Apollo, I would have to depict the horses and the chariot as well, which I knew would be challenging. I had the image in my head, but was not expecting it to actually manifest as clearly as it did. Yes, there are things I'm not happy about in this one, but overall... I can't find too much to complain about. Sadly though, I've lost my drive for the moment and don't know if I'll finish the series.Related content

This is one of the most elaborate pieces I've seen on deviantART. Though, I wish you incorporated archery into the drawing but still, magnificent!

no... it's out of my head. only used references on the horses and the pattern is my own variation of one i found online. besides that, any resemblence is entirely coincidental.

It's really hard to do a series. I've always told myself I'll do a Tarot set but every time I go to try I just get overwhelmed.
Overall, I think this piece looks great. I kind of wish the central image had the same kind of line definition as the pattern along the edge. Apart from that, it's quite lovely. Nice work.
