So, to explain this one...

This past week, the first issue of the relaunched Suicide Squad came out, which caused what I like to call now Wallergate--namely that the leader of the Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller, who in the past was more squat and built like a linebacker, was drawn to be more like a traditional, thin model. There was a lot of interesting things said about it, and one of the funnier things was by writer Gail Simone, who tweeted that if they're going to make Amanda Waller thin, they should make a thin character, like Starfire, fat.

I thought that was a funny idea and an interesting challenge, so I decided to give it a shot, taking a popular full-page splash of her from The Judas Contract by George Perez and, well, you can see where I altered things.

But I liked doing this--I tend to draw a lot of skinnier, model-like characters, and if I want to be a stronger artist, I should be able to draw people of any body type--not to mention the extensive and creative backgrounds that Perez pulls off (how he was able to do stuff like this on a daily basis is amazing to me).

So yeah. Any constructive critiques are always welcome.
