In what a squallor those proud birds of prey lie! But a beautiful shot, and its really awesome. That looks a many different versions of the Mig-21, i would guess we a PFM up front and and two F-13s following it, the one before the last in the row does look like a Mig-19 Farmer. And some Mig-17 Frescos in the second row.

The picture brings that accross well. It reminds me a bit of the Boneyards in the Mojave desert, only this one looks like its in ones backyard, figuratevly speaking.
For identifying them, the Mig-21 F-13 is the first producion model and has the shortest cone in the nose air-inlet, since it has no radar like the PFM. The PFM has a radar but no gun. Unfortunately i made a misindentification the first one is either a Mig-21bis the the last production series, wich has about three or more sub-versions or a Mig-21 SM or SMT version. Those three are hard to tell apart. The biggest problem when identifying Mig-21s is that there are so many versions of the original plane in the world. Serial production of the original russian Mig-21 ran from 1959 to 1985, and there are still upgrades manufactured and the chinese still build their own version of it. There are 17 sowjet prodiction versionand 5 upgrade versions. On top of that there are 29 Chinese versions for use by the chinese airforce and 25 export version, of chinese origin. This airplane seriously boggles the mind. Also its the most produced jet fighter in history at 11497 russian versions and more than 2400 chinese version, wich are still produced.
