Description
Life's seconds are seagulls,
and so they've learnt to fly.

Whirling over an Atlantic sea dull,
seeking withered hopes to slay.

Of dark vacuity they were full,
soaring to feed a dead sky.

Blameless by fate, they tend to hull
my delusive days, splash-colored by lies.

But my will still struggles to rule
off that flock flying so high.

And if it ever tries to pull
it down to earth’s clay,

Rises up that scream of my skull :
On earth, I’m just passer-by
...
