Rictor and Shatterstar from Marvel's X-Factor doing what I wish they would do more often in the actual comic...This is the full artwork that was mostly hidden behind the heart on the image "Ric Star Valentine". 8"x10" pen and ink, scanned, and colored with a Bamboo tablet. The background is a picture of the New York skyline.

This is a wonderful depiction of the two boys. Both look so handsome, and also very different from each other. I like the inking job, especially in the little details like their hair (including facial hair).

Thank you for noticing all the little nuances in the line work. I try very hard to stay away from the anime/yaoi-type artwork these kind of "relationships" are typically drawn as. I really appreciate your words. Thank you!

I have to admit, I'm having a lot of fun with this pair. And I wouldn't recommend that you bother to collect the X-Factor comic IF you're looking for more content than what I'm drawing. In over fifty comics, Rictor and Star have only been depicted as kissing twice 
And yes, I do like a good *cough* "live action movie" myself, from time to time. **wink-wink** lol
