Parker was the first to hear it... A distant mechanical grinding coming from the east of our position. It was the distinctive sound of approaching armour. An uneasy feeling hung in the air as we all turned towards the dreadful noise. Stevenson suggested that they might be on our side, he suggested that they might be reinforcements. My stomach tightened, my mind raced. Those tanks weren't in sight yet, but they were getting closer. I hoped to God that Stevenson was right.Related content

ha ha! I love it! you can tell who's in command, who's worried, and who's been humping a rocket launcher all day. Love the facial expressions, and the realism of kit, well, aside from the weapons, but you probably meant it that way.
