Oh yes, it most certainly did. For the Amalgam Comics imprint no less.
I only own the last issue but from what I've downloaded, I really liked the Darkclaw issues, I guess?
It was a fun series. An idea worth revisiting nowadays.

Yeah, I have a couple of them. From the top of my head, the one I remember the most was the "Spider Boy" one and the one amalgamation of Superman and the Captain America. I don't know if it was because of the novelty, but I remember the second series being much worse.

I guess it's more for the novelty since it wasn't done at that scale at the time.
And it probably wouldn't happen again now that Marvel is under various other companies.
But the book did mention that Marvel & DC had their usual sportsfests. Meaning their rivalry
is more or less friendly to say the least.

I think it was when at the top of DC was Mike Carlin, who was before the editor of Superman when the "Death of Superman" and "Reign of Supermen". He started and developed at Marvel. And at the top of Marvel was someone developed at DC. That's why, in a very short time, happened "DC vs Marvel" twice and the long awaited "Avengers vs JLA"

A little competition is always a good thing. It pushes the other party to be in their A-game.
And as cliche as this sounds, the only winner here are the fans.
