Loui and Nikolai, the awesome pair of doom. Loui is a quite sadomasochistic scientist with the urge to kill everyone and anything except children (it has to do with his own childhood and his son... who he wanted to kill at first but then he regretted it and speared the boy's life). He is the sickly looking guy in the lab coat at the left.

Nikolai, the guy on the right, was Loui's therapist and one of the few psychiatrists who didn't want to play the mental hospital's game. In their story's world the 3rd World War destroyed most of the surface of our planet. Loui was one of the researchers working on a millitary project. After the war the politicians searched for scapegoats and used former scientists, magicians and soldiers and said "they are the people responsible for the events.". Loui was put into a mental hospital and most of his comrades were put into prison, into other hospitals... or they have been sentenced to death.
Nikolai was one of the few who understood that Loui had nothing done wrong and that his "treatment" was neither ethical right nor "medically correct".

But as some of my watchers know this couldn't stop Loui to become a real mass murderer. And Nikolai then became part of an organization that Loui's ancestors founded. An organization who dealt with the misuse of magic. And Nikolai's goal was to stop him.

Yeah, the story sounds still pretty cliché and it needs a bit more touch ups... but I am happy so far. I want to portray Loui and Nikolai not as a typical "boy's love" or yaoi couple... their relationship should evolve into something more realistic and deeper but also disturbing. Disturbing not in the way you might think (no, Loui won't rape Nikolai or hurt him... he would never do that to him). But just imagine the problematic situations an ex-psychiatrist must have with a magic spelling psychotic who is also fond of philosophical and scientific topics and who would burst into a killing mode ripping people apart while he gives you a lesson about Quantum physics and how chemical reactions work...

Ah and... I tried to experiment a bit. I found out that sketchy images have their own flair and charm and maybe my style will move more into the direction of "unperfect and shaky linearts, monochromatic colors and expressionistic imagery". Let's see.
