Surprisingly, this piece was inspired by a dream I had this month...or was it last month?It was a pretty weird dream but....it did have creatures like Leprechauns, Hobgoblins, Forest Elves, Dark Elves, Kelpies/Each Usuige, Mermaids, Selkies etc. however the one that really got stuck in my head was the Kelpie scene. So I decided to do an image of a Kelpie, especially since the last time I drew a Kelpie, it was a while ago....and itβs not that great of an image. This one however I liked a lot; it looked scarier and there was more detail to this one than the last one.
Anyway, thatβs all I have to say. Favorite and comment this piece if you like. ^^

Creating the boat was one of the hardest things to do; not only did I have to make a boat look like it was tipped upside down (not to mention making a boat LOOK like a boat XD) but to give the appearance that there were some air bubbles in the boat was also tough.Β
most difficult one of them all....torn between the human (her hands at least >n<) and the Kelpie itself.Β
