This work's intrinsic nature of simply... or rather, quite literally, taking all the old stories and putting them into a single quarter makes it a very dangerous drawing. These are the immediate references I made while looking at this work:
-> old king cole (the king and his minion)
-> the three pigs and the wolf
-> pocahontas
-> Rumplestiltskin
-> Mulan
-> The Peastalk
-> The Pillars of the Acropolis
-> The standing monuments in Jerusalem
-> The Inquisition
-> Aesop's Fables
And what I gather from this is an optimistic message... one in which you're basically talking about how fairy stories and folk tales are in essence human lore put in multiple dimensions but with one perspective.

I love mythology, legends, religious tales & fairy stories - well, I guess that I love really good short stories, & whether they're fact or fiction doesn't make much difference to me.

There is too much here to comment. I am choking full and for the first time I am so glad to be alive to have witnesses this. Color and eyes watching from afar. Far from beyond pain. Far from the world. Far from all that is safe and sad and what is every day.

I just love all the detail, as usual!
I don't know if it's intentional or not but I'll assume it is...At first I thought this was work in progress, due to lack of color in certain places (not usual for you! ); then it hit me this is fantasy, and the 'fantasy' - is what's colorized! Then I fell immediately in love with this concept! Very very well done!
