I totally agree! I was all like, WTF IS THAT A DUDE? But usually it depends on who draws her for that episode. Cuz throughout the series she begins to look more like a girl.

Actually none of the gems have their genders specified in canon! They're gender-less as said by the wiki, but they look like women (usually) so that's why they use the pronouns /she/her!
